On March 10, 2008, the Rich Township Government invested in the community by donating to South-Southwest Suburban United Way. The Rich Township Government is dedicated to services that help citizens maintain a quality of life that might otherwise be out of reach.
The Rich Township Government’s generous contribution will remain in the South-Southwest Suburban region and address critical issues such as Health and Wellness, Youth Empowerment, Self-Sufficiency and Crisis Support. “Rich Township is proud to support United Way,” said Al Riley, Rich Township Supervisor. “Supporting United Way is the most effective way to improve lives and strengthen our community, ” said Elliott Johnson, CEO of Heyward and Johnson, Inc. and South Suburban United Way Board Member.
United Way provides the leadership and resources it takes to help people overcome life’s challenges and achieve self-sufficiency. It works to understand the needs in the South-Southwest Suburban area, and then funds a network of programs to address hose needs. United Way holds itself and its partner programs accountable for delivering results-to ensure that your contributions make the greatest impact possible.
